Skyfall

I am not a big fan of the James Bond series but then went for it. Usually I do not remember anything about a movie, other than the central theme after I leave the hall. But, of late I have been observing the movies in a different manner. If earlier I focused only on the story, these days I am more observant about the aspects of the movie too. And I suppose that is why I was able sit through the movie. Three scenes were worth watching. Of course, the opening scenes especially the motorbike chase on Turkish rooftops. Second, the fight between Bond and an assailant on the top of a building which is covered all side by glass and has the light of a nearby signboard. The fight filmed in silhouette was good to watch. The third, and I do not know whether I laughed or felt tensed, was when Bond gets angered in the old house when the anti hero keeps bombing , and the sudden surge in the beat of the traditional Bond signature music. I did mention a anti hero and so it is, because the character has been acted so good. There is a scene towards the end when the anti hero looks down onto M showing a myriad of emotions in his face. We may have seen it before but I felt the filming of the scene with the glow of the distant fire on his face made it a treat to watch.
There are talks going around that most of the scenes have been copied from Kollywood (I believe it is because of a broadcast in a radio station) I did not feel so except for one scene where one of the anti hero's helper mistakes a man from the reflection in the mirror. I remembered a similar scene from Barfi.
So, it isn't a great movie but it is worth a watch. I hope I haven't spoiled too much. Go for it expecting what you would from an Hollywood action flick and you wouldn't be disappointed. Have fun...
